We have known each other for over 20 years, but our interest really began in March of 2020. While the world was shut down we were texting and our friendship was growing. We quickly realized there was something more there and we had our first date on Scott's porch in May. We've been dating ever since. In fact, it's the same place we were engaged five years later!

How did we choose Cedar Skies on Lake LBJ as our wedding venue? We spent last Spring Break with some close friends at Log Country Cove (the cabins near Cedar Skies) and were charmed by these cabins on the Lake. There happened to be a wedding going on there. We were instantly intrigued! We toured the place after we got engaged and decided it was perfect.
